Hi,
I bought a 26 foot speed boat whereas the bottom has never been painted. Unfortunately, I have to keep it in the water in a slip in the Metedeconk River, NJ. I was leaning towards painting the bottom with VC17M Extra. Any Suggestions? Thanks

Due to the high cedar content and slime in the Metedecink I would recomend Micron Extra.

Does color matter? I would like to use shark white so it will not be noticed as much.

Hi there, you should definately go with the color your prefer. On white/light colors, the brownish stain from cedar content in the water will show more than on a darker color, but it's mostly an aesthetic concern. If you are worried about that we recommend you pick a darker color.
