I apologize for not having come back...

In the end, Teak Decking Systems' SIS440 won the day as to application and efficacy.

As well, it was (and is; I've made some other repairs which involved removing some small sections of the job I did) an absolute dream to work with.  It tools magnificently, doesn't become sticky, let alone begin that way, and cleans up with a wipe, rather than having to use solvents (when I'm cleaning my tool, not after curing).

It skins over quickly enough that you can pull up the tape shortly after laying, yet doesn't cure so thoroughly that you have to hurry.  The top skinning meant, also, in the few places where I hadn't pushed hard enough on the tool and had some overage onto the tape, that edge pulled off the tape and could  be pressed down, as the underside was still tacky or even relatively wet.

Full cure is in a day; we've had it in place now since very shortly after the original note.  It cleans easily, and doesn't shed or shred, but is still very flexible.

Repairs are a matter of cutting out and re-prepping after you've done whatever repair it is you needed; prep the area just like for new (scrape, sand, acetone wipe after vacuuming/blowing), tape and apply; the new will bond with the old, and you can't tell where they make the change if you've done a good tooling job.

We love it.
