We are currently hauled in Rio Dulce, Guatemala, which is fresh water. When we splash we will stay in fresh water for a few weeks before heading out to salt water and never returning to fresh. We are a 50 foot cat so need to keep haul outs as few and far between as possible. We are headed into the Pacific for two years.

We currently have Micron 66 on, which I know we can't use this time (despite it being on the shelf in the West Marine outlet here) and have been pointed in the direction of Micron CSC. This is fine, but what I'm troubled with is what difference and longevity should we see, and why CSC and not one of the others. We are permanent live aboards, never visit marinas and are always on the go. Self polishing while stationary is not a big factor for us.

Unfortunately your product guides don't do a great job (in my opinion) of differentiating, all products do an excellent job! Any advice gratefully received.

IMO If you have been in fresh water w/Micron66 you will want to thoroughly sand it then apply a tiecoat primer/sealer over it before applying any other bottom paint.  The Interlux advisors here have seemingly abandoned this forum so you may need to look elsewhere for advice on choosing your next paint from their product line for the ocean. CSC is good paint, however.
