I would like to apply Cetol Marine Light to my boat's handrails and eyebrows.  However, several bungs covering screws have come out of the wood, and the holes are too shallow to replace the bungs.  Removing the screws and deepening the holes is not an option.

I would like to cover the screw heads with some material (caulk, thickened glue, thickened epoxy, etc.) and fair the surface.  I have read that Cetol will not bond properly with some materials.  What material would you recommend to cover the screw heads? I have some teak colored Boat Life Caulk I would like to use, if it will work.  We live aboard, so achieving full cure time is not an issue.
