Planning to use Perfection Plus on our recently wooded mahogany...LOTS of mahogany. Per research @ Interlux site, we'll begin w/ at least 3 coats interlux clear coat sealer (love this stuff!) then move on to Perfection Plus (at least 3 coats). Our questions:

1. Can we use foam brushes to apply the Perfection Plus? (we have the high quality Jen poly brushes)
2. Down the line line when we need to do brightwork repair/recoat, can we use regular 1 part urethane (e.g.Compass Clear) over the Perfection Plus? Expense begins to be an issue with the amount of brightwork we have...

A little nervous about moving into 2-part coating experience! Have had nice success w/Schooner varnish which is so easy, but we really need a tougher coating.

Thanks for any answers & advice! We have a lot of time invested in getting down to bare wood on our 33' 50yr old Concordia & want to get the brightwork right!
