I expect to be helping a friend apply Pacifica anti-fouling paint (using a roller) shortly.
A while back I took a look at the paint label while in the store selling the paint but didn't write anything down. I remember that using a respirator was recommended. Looking at the Pacifica product datasheet and the materials and safety datasheet on the Interlux web-site I don't see any specific information as to the type of respirator (filter cartridges) recommended (info which I remember seeing on the paint label). Can you provide that information or provide a link to the information ? Thanks |

Below are the recomendations as per the label.
"Organic vapor removing cartridge with a prefilter approved for pesticides (MSHA/NIOSH approval number prefix TC-23C), or a canister approved for pesticides (MSHA/NIOSH approval number TC-14G), or a NIOSH approved full face respirator with an organic vapor removing cartridge with a P100 prefilter.: |
