Help please:
I am painting over 15 year old gelcoat ---- which is in good condition. I rotary sanded with 60 grit then again with 150. I applied 2 coats of 2 part Primekote primer with 150 grit sanding in-between.
I then sanded with 220 and wiped down with 233N thinner.
I applied three coats of Perfection with sanding with 220 and 320 and wipedown in-between. I applied the paint with a closed cell foam roller and tipped off.
On the last coat a 'million' tiny bubbles appeared and did not lay down with tipping. ---- not sure what happened. I had wet sanded 24 hrs after the second coat, dried off and wiped down with 233N. I guess i will sand down and re-coat. I am just not sure what is going on. Did I not wait long enough after wiping down with 233N?
Thanks for any ideas ------ Bob R.
