Hi -  I am building a wooden Lightning sailboat.  It has a single layer of WR Cedar planks that are 6 inches wide and are edge-glued.  I have begun the process of barrier coating the hull with West epoxy.  I would like your advice on the best choice for bottom paint and the primer that should be used under the bottom paint.  My boat will be actively raced, although not at a high level, and it will be dry sailed - living most of its life on its trailer on the shores of Lake Champlain.  I used VC Performance Epoxy on my antique Lightning with good results.  But I ended up using 4 different kinds of paint on the boat because of the lack of UV inhibitors in VC Perf, and that was not exactly convenient.  It would be nice if I could use a paint on the bottom that would still be good for racing, but that I could also use on the boot stripe, transom, and deck.   Thanks much, Mike S
