I have an old fiberglass hull which I am taking down to gelcoat then putty some cracks prior to priming and finishing. I intend to put interprotect 2000 on the bottom starting a few inches above the waterline then prime and paint with Brightside from the waterline up.
Which fills better and sands easier, Epoxy Primekote or Prekote? Can either go over Interprotect 2000? Can Prekote go over Epoxy Primekote? Jimmy |

One part products can go over two part products But a two part cannot go over a one part. For Brightside Prekote is your best choice. |

If I use Epoxy Primecoat can I skip grinding out and filling gelcoat cracks?

Unfortunately I am afraid to say, but you will still be required to grind out and fill the cracks even if Epoxy Primekote had been used.
