I have a 1989 Catalina 25 that I keep on the hard and trailer launch at a North Texas Lake.  The boat previously spent its life, in a slip on the outer banks of NC.  It looks like it has three or four coats of an ablative paint that has some peeling and blisters.  I tried Peel Away stripper on just the rudder and after 3 coats and a lot of elbow grease, it did not appear to be a good solution.

I started sanding some of the blisters and I thought Micron CSC, with 216 was what I needed.  Now I am not so sure.  I will remain a freshwater sailor but hope to sail along the Gulf Coast and the Inter-coastal Waterway next year.

Any advice?
Thanks

If you will be keeping your boat on a trailer and going in and out both fresh and salt water Micron CSC is your best option.
